Humans were created to move; actually, to be very active. However, this amazing technological age we live in has distracted us from living a normal, healthy existence. Most of us are sitting in front of televisions, computers, and phones every day. Some of us are driving our cars and vehicles to our mailbox to retrieve the mail. I have done it, as have my neighbors. In America, we have become quite spoiled and are living a dangerous sedentary lifestyle.
When we revisit the history of man, we know that humans walked hundreds and even thousands of miles. They also worked outside doing a great deal of physical labor. Now fast-forward to the 21st century, which has extreme modern-day conveniences, and the majority of us have fallen away from the essential concept of moving and exercising.
A simple walk or jog outside in fresh air and sunshine is very therapeutic, as is bike riding, hiking, and cross-country skiing. How about a barefoot walk or run on the beach to get grounded with God’s nature and the full frequency of the earth? There is also volleyball, baseball, and many other activities that will offer beneficial value to your physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being.
Exercise eliminates stress and gets the blood flowing, which is so vitally essential. Many millions of people are not sleeping well due to a lack of exercise, which in turn causes extreme stress on the human system. We are allowing ourselves to be programmed in a negative manner which is causing a diminished lifespan and a suffering existence for multitudes of humans. We must break the cycle of improper lifestyle habits, especially when battling a life-threatening illness. Why would an illness improve if we continue to feed it with what caused it in the first place? A healthier diet and lifestyle are the answers for what ails you.
Think about it—what can be more satisfying for an average couple than bicycling together or walking barefoot on the beach together, and how about ice skating together? There are so many fulfilling activities that improve our well-being, we simply need to break the bondage of being stuck in the mud. I promise you that if you eat more plants and get out there and move a little, you will feel human again. You will regain your love for life again.
Remember when you are out and about to hug someone, encourage someone, or even offer a prayer to your fellow man who may be struggling. Exercise and kindness will elevate your inner frequency, which, as we have learned, renews our health and well-being.
