A Healthy Liver Adds Many Years To Our Lifespan

The liver is an organ that is simply overburdened with toxicity and stress in this era we exist in. In simple language, the liver is taking a beating these days.

This organ is so vitally important in the recovery process concerning cancer and many other health concerns as well.

The liver is a large reddish-brown gland in the upper right side of the abdomen above the stomach and below the diaphragm. The liver is the largest gland or organ in the human body weighing approximately 3 lb. in women and 4 lb. in men. The liver regulates the composition of blood and regulates the amounts of glucose, proteins, and fats that enter our bloodstream. It also metabolizes and removes bilirubin (bilirubin is the byproduct of the breakdown of hemoglobin from red blood cells), ammonia, drugs, and many toxins.

The liver is extremely connected to the brain and its functions, as well as hormonal functions, cardio functions, and immune functions. These functions can determine if we live with optimal health or not.

All cancer patients must seek a restoration concerning the condition of their liver. Research confirms almost every cancer patient has inadequate liver functions, aka liver impairment. The liver is very resilient and will return to a healthy state if we follow the instruction offered in this article.

The diet is crucial in restoring the liver back into a healthy state, as is raw vegetable juicing and herbs. Any good liver cleanse will cleanse the blood and inspire healthier bone marrow as well. Many of the same substances that cause liver impairment can cause the genesis and progression of cancer and so many health disorders. When the liver is healthy, the brain and glandular systems operate at optimal levels. This causes us to be happy and healthy. When the liver is sick, we struggle with low energy, poor memory, insomnia, and many symptoms of poor health.

There is an unreported epidemic of liver disease incubating in tens of millions of Americans.

The disease is called NAFLD (non-alcoholic fatty liver disease), which is caused by poor dietary habits, especially high-fructose corn syrup, daily or regular consumption of soda, hydrogenated oil, fast foods, processed foods, chemicals, and preservatives.

Should NAFLD become a stealth liver disorder, it will be a worse scenario than having a stage 4 cancer. Remember, a healthy liver is essential in recovering from any and all cancers. If you have a serious health concern, there is a good chance you have a compromised liver. Our livers are begging us for a break, and we had better oblige them for our own good.

Avoid stress, eat and drink healthy; then seek the natural compounds God gave us to heal and restore our temple. In case you have not noticed, we are in an era of epidemics concerning life-threatening disease. If you depend solely on health practitioners versus being committed and taking control of your health, it will probably be a long, hard trial that you will endure. We must focus on seeking proper education and self-commitment.
